Fiery Multi-Vehicle Collision Reported near Clarkson Avenue

KINGSBURG, CA (November 21, 2018) – On Wednesday night, a vehicle caught fire in a crash on Highway 43.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:08 PM on the southbound lanes of the road, near Clarkson Avenue. The incident involved a total of five vehicles, including a semi-truck, a Honda Civic, a Dodge Caravan, a Jeep SUV and an unknown car. One of the cars overturned and engulfed in fire when the authorities arrived.

The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They have not yet released a report regarding any injuries sustained in the fiery pile-up.

Debris was seen scattered all over the roadway and a clearing operation was performed. No further information regarding the circumstances leading up the collision have been disclosed to the public. It is unclear whether drugs or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.
