Man Killed, 2 Injured in Van Nuys Fiery Wreck
VAN NUYS, CA (December 5, 2018) – A multi-vehicle fiery wreck on Highway 101 near Van Nuys Boulevard Tuesday claimed a man’s life and left two people with injuries.
The fiery three-car collision snarled traffic on the westbound side of Highway 101.
According to news reports, a 40-year-old male occupant of an SUV died after the vehicle overturned and caught on fire. Two other vehicles, including a Mercedes-Benz sedan, were involved. Two people managed to escape the 10:46 a.m. crash with minor injuries.
