U.S. Marine Tomiwa Adewale Killed, Two Injured in Vehicle Crash on Las Pulgas Road
Camp Pendleton, CA (March 09, 2021) – On Sunday, a 19-year-old U.S. Marine, Lance Cpl. Tomiwa Adewale died and another two were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Las Pulgas Road.
The fatal crash happened at around 5 p.m. at Camp Pendleton.
Authorities pronounced Adewale, 0811 field artillery cannoneer from Texas dead at the scene, while rescuers airlifted one to Scripps Memorial Hospital.
Similarly, rescuers assessed a third Marine to have non-serious injuries and was treated at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.
Meanwhile, officers revealed the identity of the victim as 26-year-old Aaron Michael Fish.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
