One Injured in Bentley Street Fatal ATV Collision

Riverside, CA (January 01, 2022) – On Friday, two people lost their lives in an off-road vehicle crash on Bentley Street.

It was about 2:40 p.m. in the 11300 block area.

Officers said an off-road vehicle was carrying three people while traveling on a dirt ridgeline road. Suddenly, it struck a large rock and the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer off the side of a hill.

Immediately, emergency responders airlifted the victim to Riverside Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are investigating this fatal collision. They withheld the identities, genders and ages of those involved are pending the coroner’s investigation.

Meanwhile, it is still unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in this incident.
