Serious Injuries Reported on Horrific Solo-Vehicle Accident Near Enoch Road
Deer Park, WA (April 24, 2024) Early Sunday morning, 2 teenage boys were seriously injured after a rollover crash on Short Road.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the solo-vehicle accident happened around 12:30 a.m. on N. Short Road near W. Enoch Road.
Reports say that a 16-year-old driver and 17-year-old passenger were driving near Deer Park just after midnight Sunday, officials say that the 16-year-old driver was exceeding the 45 mph speed limit and lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a utility pole.
The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to roll over and crash into a fence, then hit a parked vehicle and ultimately collide with a tree.
Deputies say that the 16-year-old could face multiple charges, as he violated his restricted driver’s license and possibly under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
Both teens were taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are investigating the solo vehicle crash and have not released additional information at this time.
