Three Vehicles Involved in Major Collision near South Avenue
CORNING, CA (December 13, 2018) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 99, Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:50 AM, just south of South Avenue. Based on their report, three vehicles were involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a semi-truck, a red car and a silver Honda sedan.
An ambulance was requested for needed medical attention. One person sustained minor injuries, and another one suffered major injuries. No update was released regarding their conditions.
Towing services were called for a clearing operation. The cause of the pile-up is not yet known and additional information will be released once it becomes available. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
