Two Pickup Trucks Collide in St. Helena, One Catches Fire
ST. HELENA, CA (May 27, 2019) – Two people were injured following a fiery crash late Monday afternoon in St. Helena.
The crash happened around 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of Chiles Pope Valley Road and Hennessey Ridge Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ford F-350 and another pickup truck collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused one of the vehicles to catch fire.
Fire crews responded to the scene and found two occupants with injuries. Paramedics took the patients to a hospital with complaints of pain.
Both vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
