2 Injured in Malibu Motorcycle Accident on Pacific Coast Highway
MALIBU, CA (July 1, 2019) – A vehicle struck and injured a motorcyclist on Pacific Coast Highway on June 27.
The rider and his passenger sustained some minimal trauma and broken bones from the incident. The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway at Westward Beach Road, Sgt. Fray Lupian of the sheriff’s Malibu/Lost Hills Station revealed.
Responders flew the woman to Dignity Health-Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Meanwhile, they airlifted the motorcyclist to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, Lupian revealed.
“They had some minimal trauma and some broken bones, but both are expected to survive,” he added.
As of now, the condition of the driver is still unknown.
All lanes of Pacific Coast Highway at Westward Beach Road remained blocked at 8:45 p.m. It then re-opened at 10:19 p.m., Lupian added.
