Two Injured in Highway 101 Rollover Collision [Ventura County, CA]

Ventura County, CA (December 12, 2022) – On Sunday, a driver and her passenger sustained injuries following a Highway 101 rollover collision.

The authorities received the crash report at about 1:50 p.m. north of Padre Juan Canyon Road, near Faria Beach.

The CHP said a 46-year-old Carpinteria woman driving a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe lost control of her vehicle and rolled over several times. The vehicle rested between the left and right construction split on the highway.

The driver was thrown from the vehicle and sustained significant injuries while her 19-year-old male passenger incurred non-life threatening.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the driver and the passenger to Ventura County Medical Center. 

Officers are still investigating the cause of the Somis vehicle crash.
