Travis Gottlob Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Accident on Cathedral Oaks Road
Goleta, CA (November 14, 2020) – On Friday, Travis Gottlob, 45, died in a pedestrian accident on Cathedral Oaks Road.
Authorities responded to the pedestrian crash shortly after 8:30 p.m., between Glen Annie Road and Los Carneros Road.
The man was struck by a small sports car that was traveling westbound on Cathedral Oaks.
Authorities pronounced the Santa Barbara man dead at the scene. On the other hand, the driver who hit Mr. Gottlob, identified as Kyler Tanowitz, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Meanwhile, officers closed the Cathedral Oaks Road in both directions while the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department investigated the crash.
