1 Dead in Lancaster Auto Accident on Avenue D and 110th Street

LANCASTER, CA (April 12, 2023) – Monday night, 1 person died in a tragic rollover crash on Avenue D and 110th Street.

The incident occurred just before 6:00 p.m. near the intersection of Avenue D and 110th Street in Lancaster.

CHP Officials are investigating the cause. However, a witness revealed that a semi headed east on Avenue D.

Meanwhile, the Jeep heading north on 110th blew through the stop sign at the intersection.

Afterward, the semi attempted to avoid the Jeep but failed. Then, the semi ended up broadsiding the car, overturning.

As a result, six people suffered injuries, including the semi-truck driver and 5 Jeep occupants.

However, one of the Jeep occupants succumbed to injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, two people in critical condition were airlifted.

Moreover, ambulances transported the other three victims to the hospital.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
