OAKLAND, CA (January 2, 2024) – Early Monday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on International Boulevard and 42nd Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of International Boulevard and 42nd Avenue, according to police.

Reports revealed that the driver doing donuts “traveled off the roadway” and hit the pedestrian on a sidewalk.

After the crash, the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital but did not survive. The victim’s identity remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, the driver fled from the scene in the vehicle.
