(January 19, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a male motorcyclist was killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 1.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the traffic accident happened on southbound Highway 1 near Highway 135.

Reports say that a male motorcycle rider was struck by several vehicles. Officials did not release details on how the crash happened, nor how many vehicles were involved in the fatal incident.

Authorities pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
