Tragic Hit-and-Run Crash on Horizon Boulevard Kills Bicyclist [Horizon City, TX]

Horizon City, TX (September 27, 2023) On Monday morning, a 44-year-old male bicyclist died after a hit-and-run crash on Horizon Boulevard.

According to the Horizon City Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 3 a.m. on the 13780 block of Horizon Boulevard.

Reports say that the bicyclist was hit by a car and then another vehicle ran over him. Officials say that both vehicles failed to stop and render aid to the fallen bicyclist.

Authorities say that the vehicles involved are a 2015 to 2018 Volkswagen Jetta and a 2007 to 2012 Toyota Yaris. Officials say that both vehicles would have damaged fronts.

Police are investigating and are searching for the suspect drivers and vehicles who remain at large.
