PHOENIX, AZ (May 13, 2024) – Sunday night, an alarming multi-vehicle crash on State Route 51 near 32nd Street led to injuries.

The incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of State Route 51 near 32nd Street.

Meanwhile, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said that the incident led to serious injuries.

The northbound lanes of State Route 51 were closed at 32nd Street while crews worked to clear the scene and investigate the crash. 

ADOT reported that the highway was reopened around 5 a.m. However, authorities have not specified the number or extent of injuries resulting from the incident.
