Tucson, AZ (November 29, 2024) On Tuesday evening, a person was killed after a horrific 3-vehicle crash on Interstate 10.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS), the fatal collision happened at about 9 p.m. on Interstate 10 near milepost 266.

Reports say that the tragic crash involved a pickup truck, a passenger car, and a semi-truck, officials say that the crash left one person dead.

Authorities say that the pickup truck stopped in the westbound lane just before 9 p.m. A passenger car collided with the back of the pickup, and both vehicles were then struck by an oncoming semi-truck in the same lane.

The driver of the passenger car succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI), as impairment is believed to have played a role in the incident.
