35-Year-Old Man Arrested in Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Imperial Avenue
San Diego, CA (December 9, 2023) On Thursday evening, a woman was killed after a violent traffic accident on Imperial Avenue.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 7 p.m. on 4400 Imperial Avenue.
Reports say that a westbound 2007 Chevy Malibu struck a woman in the 2nd lane. Officials say that both parties involved are yet to be identified.
Medics rushed the unidentified female pedestrian to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead at 7:56 p.m.
Meanwhile, police arrested the driver and was booked into jail on suspicion of driving under the influence and several other unspecified charges.
