Person Hospitalized Following Torrance Pedestrian Collision

 
TORRANCE, CA (December 28, 2018) – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle Wednesday evening on Crenshaw Boulevard near Del Amo Boulevard, according to authorities.
 
The incident unfolded at approximately 9:15 p.m., said Sgt. Ronald Harris of the Torrance Police Department. The victim was conscious and brought to a hospital with unknown injuries. It was not clear how the incident happened or who was at fault, but authorities are investigating this crash further.
 
The incident closed the southbound lanes of Crenshaw Boulevard for nearly 30 minutes and were reopened by 9:40 p.m.
