Tony Marshall Dies in Two-Vehicle Wreck at Mello and Murphey Roads
RIPON, CA (January 24, 2019) – A 57-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning in a broadside collision at Mello and Murphey roads.
Tony Marshall was a former leader to thousands of Modesto North Stake of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints members. He lost his life Tuesday when his Acura was struck by a northbound Chevrolet Silverado.
Authorities believe Marshall was heading westbound on Miller Road and failed to acknowledge a stop sign. His Acura was then struck on the driver’s side by the pickup truck driver, who reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
Marshall was killed in the crash. Authorities are investigating this case further.
