PHOENIX, AZ (March 14, 2022) – Sunday night, Tomas Villaverde died in a crash near 36th Street and Indian School Road.
 
Moreover, it happened just before 10:00 p.m. when a speeding Ford Mustang traveled east on Indian School Road. Then, it crashed with a Honda Accord trying to turn left onto 36th Street.
 
According to reports, two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old occupied the Mustang. Then, the impact ejected two of them from the car.
 
Meanwhile, officers confirmed that Tomas Villaverde was in the Mustang. However, he suffered fatal injuries while the two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Moreover, the 50-year-old male driver of the Honda was pushed into a traffic signal pole. Then, responders took the driver to a hospital in serious condition. Also, authorities confirmed that he sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Also, officers added that the man showed signs of alcohol impairment. Thus, they would possibly file charges against him.
