Three Passengers Killed, Adam Teasdale Arrested in DUI Bakersfield Accident on Brimhall Road

 
Bakersfield, CA (January 01, 2021) – On New Year’s Eve, 20-year-olds Timothy Wilson, Devin Atha, and Andrew Ortiz died in a DUI crash on Brimhall Road.
 
Officers responded to the deadly crash scene at around 11:15 p.m. on the intersection with Jewetta Avenue.
 
When they arrived, they located a vehicle that struck a tree in the center divider.
 
Authorities said a total of five people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
 
Three passengers were thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. On the other hand, the male driver and another passenger incurred minor injuries.
 
Additionally, police said the intoxicated driver, 20-year-old Adam Teasdale, will be booked on charges of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter-related charges.
 
Later on, officers identified the three deceased. Devin Lee Atha, Timothy Michael Wilson, and Andrew Nicholas Ortiz, all 20, were the victims of this fatal accident.
