Timothy McCallister of Olympic Valley Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 49 [Grass Valley, CA]

Robert Roush of North San Juan Involved in Grass Valley Collision

Grass Valley, CA (June 11, 2022) – On Thursday, at about 11 p.m., 36-year-old Timothy McCallister of Olympic Valley, sustained fatal injuries in a motorcycle crash on Highway 49.

Officers say McCallister was traveling at a fast speed while approaching a curve.

As a result, he and his motorcycle slid into the opposite lane, then McCallister fell from his motorcycle.

Unfortunately, he was struck by a Honda CRV  driven by 65-year-old Robert Roush of North San Juan.

The authorities say Timothy McCallister was wearing a helmet, however, he died at the scene.

Roush did not sustain injuries from the accident.

Meanwhile, the officers are investigating whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in this crash.
