Crash on East Palomar Street Injures One Juvenile
Chula Vista, CA (February 19, 2021) – On Wednesday, at least three, including a juvenile, were injured in a vehicle crash on East Palomar Street.
The vehicle crash took place at about 5:20 p.m. at the intersection with Santa Olivia Road.
A man in a black BMW SUV was speeding westbound on Palomar Street in a lane designated for buses.
As a result, the SUV struck at least three other vehicles.
Rescuers took the injured people to a hospital, including the juvenile that was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital.
Meanwhile, officers are investigating whether the BMW driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
