Thomas Llamas Dies in Motorcycle Collision on East Rider Street at Wilson Avenue
PERRIS, CA (December 3, 2018) – A 22-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a vehicle on East Rider Street at Wilson Avenue Wednesday evening.
Thomas Llamas was identified as the 22-year-old San Jacinto man killed in a motorcycle crash. Llamas was immediately transported to Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley where despite life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 1:08 a.m.
Emergency First Responders were summoned just before 10:45 p.m. after responding to reports of a collision. Llamas was found with major traumatic injuries and the driver of the other vehicle, described as a 21-year-old driver from San Jacinto, remained at the scene of the crash. It appeared Llamas was heading eastbound on Rider Street, approaching Wilson Avenue when he plowed into the passenger side of a vehicle that was turning from westbound Rider Street onto southbound Wilson Avenue.
Drugs and alcohol were ruled out as contributing sources to the collision.
