1 Dead in Los Banos Two-Vehicle Accident on Center Avenue and Almond Drive

 
LOS BANOS, CA (February 2, 2022) – Friday night, Thomas Decoste suffered injuries in a fatal crash on Center Avenue and Almond Drive.
 
The incident happened at around 7:13 p.m. on Center Avenue and Almond Drive.
 
According to reports, 45-year-old Thomas Decoste of Los Banos traveled west on Almond Drive in a 2007 GMC. Then, he failed to yield at a stop sign on Center Avenue.
 
As a result, the GMC continued in front of a 37-year-old Los Banos woman driving a 2006 Honda. Then, the Honda’s front crashed with the front left side of the GMC.
 
Both vehicles went in a northwest direction after the crash. Meanwhile, the impact fully ejected Thomas Decoste from the vehicle. Also, authorities confirmed that he failed to wear a seat belt.
 
Responders took Decoste to Memorial North Hospital in Modesto with major injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the Honda stopped in an agricultural field and the woman suffered fatal injuries in the crash. At this time, her identity remains undisclosed.
 
Also, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
