Theodore Puls Injured, Javier Barrios Involved in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 190 Near South Jaye Street
PORTERVILLE, CA (January 15, 2019) – A 48-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized Saturday morning after being struck by a motorist on Highway 190 near South Jaye Street.
The crash happened around 8 a.m., according to a Porterville Police Department news release.
Theodore Puls was the 48-year-old pedestrian jaywalking southbound on Highway 190 when he was struck by 43-year-old Javier Barrios, who was attempting a westbound turn in a Ford F-150 pickup.
Puls suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.
