Tegan Giesel Dead in Lacey Pedestrian Accident on 5 Freeway
LACEY, WA (August 24, 2020) – On Monday morning, 35-year-old Tegan Giesel died in a pedestrian accident on the northbound 5 Freeway in Lacey.
The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. on the 5 Freeway near Exit 111 in Lacey. According to troopers, the woman crossed the freeway in front of a Chevy Silverado.
As a result, the Ms. Giesel was hit. At this time, the authorities haven’t determined why the woman was in the road.
Meanwhile, the four occupants of the Silverado, including a 2-year-old child and infant, were uninjured in the crash.
Moreover, the incident shut down two lanes of traffic for two hours. It reopened around 8:00 a.m.
