1 Dead and 5 Injured in Montclair Auto Accident on Monte Vista Avenue

 
MONTCLAIR, CA (July 8, 2020) – Sunday afternoon, a teenage passenger died and five others were injured in a crash on Monte Vista Avenue.
 
According to Montclair police, a teenage suspect drove his SUV over the center median of Monte Vista Avenue. Afterward, he started heading south in the northbound lane at around 5:40 p.m.
 
As a result, the SUV crashed with a sedan with a 51-year-old female occupant.
 
She suffered “relatively minor” injuries and responders took her to a local hospital.
 
Meanwhile, authorities declared a 14-year-old passenger of the SUV deceased at the scene.
 
Furthermore, four passengers suffered moderate injuries. Responders took all of them to local hospitals.
