Police Seeking the Hit-And-Run Driver after Crash on Kentia Street in Oxnard

Oxnard, CA (December 29, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a 13-year-old boy sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Kentia Street and Kumquat Place.

The hit-and-run crash in Oxnard happened after 4:30 p.m. on December 25.

Oxnard Police said a black Dodge Charger hit the victim, and the driver fled the scene. 

The teen suffered significant injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ventura County Medical Center. He was said to be in stable condition.

Authorities said the driver was apparently fleeing from an earlier hit-and-run and was being followed by the victim of the prior incident.

Investigators are searching for original security footage as well as photos and videos taken on smartphones.
