1 Killed and 3 Hospitalized in Fresno Auto Accident on Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Street

 
FRESNO, CA (March 6, 2022) – On Saturday, a teen died in a two-vehicle crash on Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Mount Whitney Avenue and Cedar Street.
 
Reports revealed that a black Honda Accord struck the passenger side of a silver Lexus that failed to stop at a stop sign. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Lexus to roll over multiple times.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced a 14-year-old female passenger of the Honda dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed a teen passenger of the Lexus to Community Regional Medical Center via helicopter with unknown injuries. Both female drivers of the two vehicles sustained major injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
 
Furthermore, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
