Stockton Man Dies in Rollover Collision on Highway 99 [Modesto, CA]

32-Year-Old Stockton Driver Struck by Multiple Vehicles in Modesto

 
Modesto, CA (June 14, 2021) – On Sunday, a 32-year-old Stockton driver lost his life in a rollover crash on Highway 99.
 
The authorities responded to the accident scene at 2:12 a.m. south of Pelandale Avenue.
 
Officers said the victim went off the right side of the highway and into a ditch. His vehicle, a 1996 Acura Integra rolled multiple times, and he was ejected from the car.
 
“We do believe he was wearing his seat belt,” CHP spokesman Officer Tom Olsen said, “but the overturning and the impact were so violent it broke free.”
 
Officers said the driver was the sole occupant of the car.
 
He ended up in the middle lane of the highway, where numerous vehicles struck him.
 
Unfortunately, none of the drivers pulled over or called 911.
 
The authorities are still investigating the incident.
