69-Year-Old Aptos Man Killed in Head-On Crash on Freedom Boulevard
Aptos, CA (November 14, 2020) – On November 5, 69-year-old Aptos man Steven Spindler was fatally injured in a vehicle crash on Freedom Boulevard.
The accident occurred when he drove north in a 2010 Dodge Caravan on Freedom Boulevard south of Valencia Road.
California Highway Patrol said the victim turned left in front of a vehicle traveling south in a 1999 Ford E150.
As a result, the two vehicles crashed.
Immediately, the rescuers took Mr. Spindler to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. However, he died days after the accident at the Mills-Peninsula Hospital.
