Steven Griffith Dead in Whatcom County Pedestrian Accident on Enterprise Road
WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (December 9, 2020) – On Monday, a pedestrian crash killed Steven Griffith on Enterprise Road.
The officers from Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol, Whatcom County Fire District 7, and North Whatcom Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the scene.
Responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the authorities identified the victim as 66-year-old Steven C. Griffith from Ferndale.
Reports revealed that a northbound 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup truck struck Griffith while crossing N Enterprise Road.
Authorities do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Heather Axtman said that there are no indications of a crime being committed at the crash. Thus, the incident is under active investigation.
