Tragic Vehicle Crash on I Street Kills Steve Grillos
Modesto, CA (February 12, 2021) – On Tuesday, 93-year-old Steve Grillos lost his life hours after a tragic vehicle crash on I Street.
The fatal crash took place at about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection with Sixth Street.
A white GMC truck moving eastbound on I Street crashed in the intersection with a red Subaru SUV traveling northbound on Sixth Street.
Authorities are investigating who had the right of way during that time.
Furthermore, Grillos, the Subaru driver, and everyone else involved in the crash sustained either minor injuries or no injuries.
Apparently, he declined treatment at the scene.
However, about six hours after the road accident, Grillos suffered a medical emergency and was taken to a hospital, where he lost his life.
Officers are investigating the case of Grillos’ death.
