1 Dead in Perris Bicycle Accident on Goetz Road
PERRIS, CA (July 19, 2020) – Late Friday night, 64-year-old Steve Baxter died in a hit-and-run bicycle crash on Goetz Road.
The incident happened at 11:16 p.m. on Goetz Road and Ellis Avenue, said the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
When the deputies arrived, they found out that an older, unknown-model sedan (either white or light-colored) struck the bicyclist.
Moreover, investigators added that the sedan would have a major front-end damage and a broken front windshield
Also, the authorities declared Steve Baxter, of Perris, dead at the scene, said the Riverside County coroner’s office.
Meanwhile, they are encouraging anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the sheriff’s Perris station at 951-210- 1068.
