LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX (June 8, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, a startling two-vehicle crash on Highway 84 injured two people.

The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Highway 84.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a vehicle traveling northwest attempted to turn in a cross-over only to realized it was the wrong cross-over. Then, the vehicle attempted to pull back onto the highway but collided with a pickup truck.

Moreover, responders transported two occupants of the first vehicle to UMC with unknown injuries.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
