PHOENIX, AZ (August 14, 2023) – Sunday morning, a startling motorcycle crash on Loop 101 near 35th Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened at around 12:15 a.m. on Loop 101 near 35th Avenue.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a vehicle and a motorcycle collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders transported the motorcyclist to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Loop 101 for about three hours but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
