Injuries Reported in Antelope Valley Auto Accident on Highway 18 and 248th Street
ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (April 23, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a startling head-on crash on Highway 18 and 248th Street injured 4 people.
The incident involving a white Toyota Tacoma and a silver Toyota Corolla happened just after 4:15 p.m. on Highway 18 and 248th Street in Llano.
Responders airlifted four people to a hospital, two of them being listed in critical condition, while the two others suffered from moderate injuries.
Authorities also confirmed that a dog sustained injuries in the crash. Hence, Animal Control was requested to retrieve the animal.
Furthermore, the authorities issued a SigAlert for Highway 18 which shut down traffic in both directions.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
