CORONA, CA (April 16, 2023) – Friday night, 1 person was airlifted after a startling crash on 91 Freeway and Lincoln Avenue.

The incident occurred at about 8:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes of 91 Freeway, east of Lincoln Avenue in Corona.

Just before 9 p.m., the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Coroner’s Bureau responded.

Then, responders airlifted one patient from the scene.

Also, the westbound lanes remained unavailable as of 10 p.m.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
