Injuries Reported in Los Angeles Vehicle Crash on 605 Freeway N and Whittier Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 20, 2023) – Monday morning, a passenger was airlifted after a startling auto accident on 605 Freeway N and Whittier Boulevard.

The incident happened at around 1:58 a.m. on 605 Freeway N and Whittier Boulevard.

Meanwhile, LACoFD & CHP both came to a report of a sedan under a semi-trailer.

Upon firefighters’ arrival, they found a Lexus sedan wedged under the back of a semi-trailer. Meanwhile, the driver and passenger were both stuck in the crash.

Moreover, crews managed to extricate the driver but the passenger remained trapped for over 10 minutes.

After lifting the trailer of the vehicle, the firefighters successfully extricated the patient. Then, they airlifted the passenger to USC Hospital

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
