Horrendous Traffic Accident on Bonham Avenue Injures 5 People [Odessa, TX]

Odessa, TX (May 11, 2024) On Friday morning, a traffic accident on Bonham Avenue, involving a vehicle crashing into an ice cream shop left 5 people hurt.

According to the Odessa Police Department and Odessa Fire Rescue, the horrific crash happened around 11:44 p.m. at the intersection of 42nd Street and Bonham Avenue.

Reports say that the crash involved a gray Toyota Highlander crashing into Alfredo’s Paleteria.

Officials say that the collision injured 3 students and 2 adults.

Authorities say that the driver of the Highlander failed to the right of way to a Ford Expedition, as the Highlander attempted to turn left into the business complex. The incident forced the driver of the Highlander to overcorrect and crash into the ice cream shop.

Police are investigating the crash and have not released additional information at this time.
