The crash involving three vehicles occurred before 8:00 a.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 near Washington Street.

When crews arrived at the scene, they freed one person trapped inside a vehicle.

Investigators confirmed that two people were transported to the hospital with unlisted injuries.
