South Pepper Avenue Hit-and-Run Collision Kills Martin Villegas of San Bernardino [San Bernardino, CA]

San Bernardino, CA (March 10, 2022) – On Tuesday, at about 10:05 p.m., 57-year-old Martin Villegas of San Bernardino, sustained fatal injuries in a hit-and-run crash on South Pepper Avenue.

Investigating officers said a northbound Dodge Challenger rear-ended a Toyota Corolla at a high rate of speed. 

As a result, the Toyota driven by Villegas collided into a streetlight while the Dodge driver immediately fled the crash scene.

Villegas sustained critical injuries and died at the hospital.
