35-Year-Old Sonja Bratz Deceased in Vehicle Crash on State Route 20
Skagit County, WA (December 20, 2020) – On Friday, 35-year-old Sonja Bratz of Bellingham lost her life in a tragic vehicle crash on State Route 20.
The fatal crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. on Fidalgo Island.
Bratz was driving southbound on her Pontiac Sunfire.
Then suddenly, she crossed the center line and struck a northbound Honda Accord driven by a 45-year-old woman from Anacortes.
The responders airlifted the Anacortes woman to Harborview hospital in Seattle.
Susan Gregg, the hospital’s director of media relations said she is in serious condition at the ICU at Harborview.
Meanwhile, authorities said both women were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. They are investigating the cause of the accident.
