Teenager Dead in Scottsdale Accident near Shea Boulevard
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (August 8, 2020) – Early Thursday morning, Austin Dallman died in a skateboard crash near Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale.
The incident occurred at about 1:00 a.m. near Shea Boulevard and 128th Street.
Reports from the Scottsdale Police revealed that 18-year-old Austin Dallman rode his skateboard west on Shea Boulevard in the road. However, a westbound vehicle struck him.
As a result, Austin Dallman suffered fatal injuries. Meanwhile, the vehicle driver stayed at the scene and helped with the investigation.
At this time, investigators do not believe that speed and impairment played a role in the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities shut down Shea Boulevard from 124th Street to 130th Street during the investigation. However, the road has since reopened.
