SEASIDE, CA (August 31, 2023) – Wednesday morning, Sinforiano Martinez-Garcia died in a brutal pedestrian crash on Noche Buena Street.

The fatal accident happened at 7:46 a.m. on Noche Buena Street and Wanda Avenue in front of Mal’s Market.

According to reports, as the 49-year-old pedestrian crossed the street with his wife to get to a bus stop, a Ford pickup truck driven by a 46-year-old man turned onto Wanda Avenue.

Then, the vehicle crashed into the pedestrian in front of his wife.

Meanwhile, the authorities arrested the driver and charged him with a misdemeanor for vehicular manslaughter.

Officers confirmed that he was arrested on an infraction. Also, the authorities investigated the case as manslaughter.

Meanwhile, the family of the victim set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses.
