AUSTIN, TX (September 4, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on 900 North Interstate 35 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:37 a.m. in the 900 block of the North Interstate 35 northbound.

According to reports, an unidentified vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

Responding paramedics pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the Austin Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
