5 People Hurt in Antioch Auto Accident on Marina and Smith’s Landing Parking
ANTIOCH, CA (August 7, 2023) – Sunday morning, authorities reported injuries in a side show crash on Marina and Smith’s Landing parking.
The incident happened at the Marina and Smith’s Landing parking at around 3:00 a.m.
According to the Antioch Police Department, a vehicle struck a nearby fire hydrant, breaking the water main below. Then, another vehicle crashed into the river.
Moreover, responders transported two men and one woman to a hospital with unknown injuries. Then, another vehicle caused a crash at 10th and G Street.
The vehicle driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by authorities. Also, authorities confirmed that two more people sustained injuries in the incident.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
