Rescuers Respond to Highway 4 Big Rig Crash [Antioch, CA]

Collision east of Hillcrest Avenue Under Investigation

Antioch, CA (May 9, 2024) – Medical emergency teams responded to Highway 4 big rig crash Wednesday morning.

The collision happened before 6:13 a.m. east of Hillcrest Avenue that also involves a box truck.

There were about 40 gallons of diesel spilled from the wreckage. 

Immediately, the Contra Costa County hazmat team arrived at the scene for cleanup.

Meanwhile, there is no update on the possible injuries and damage on the vehicles.
