Shelley Voges Killed and Several People Injured in Phoenix Bus Accident on Diamond Bar Road
PHOENIX, AZ (January 26, 2021) – On Friday, 53-year-old Shelley Ann Voges died while 44 others were hospitalized in a bus crash on Diamond Bar Road.
According to Anita Mortensen, a spokeswoman for the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, the bus involved in the accident was operated by a Las Vegas company that offers tours guided by comedians.
The bus was heading to Grand Canyon West with 48 people on board, including the driver when the incident occurred.
Authorities identified the 53-year-old Shelley Ann Voges of Boonville, as the victim who died in the crash.
Meanwhile, responders transported 44 people to Kingman Regional Medical Center, including two flown by medical helicopter with critical injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
